When finding the right building, we will offer a place that will be available to our guests and clients 24/7. Where there will always be availability in times of need. We will offer support, walk people through the process of suicidal thoughts, get them resources. Though this is a Ministry we will not impose our beliefs on anyone. We are non-judgmental, it is confidential. A hiding place for weakness and vulnerable moments that can be shared with clergy or people with like standards.
My specialty is in the field of Ministry. I have an associate in biblical studies, and a Bachelors in Pastoral. Which allows me to find the good in people. This is who I am. It has helped me to identify myself and explain why we as people do what we do. Why we should learn how to love ourselves and others. To listen, not be judgmental, help bring out the best in others. To find our passions and to learn how to forgive. To except our part in a situation. To love and grow together as family.
Given that I have been involved in DCS foster care since (2002) and adoption up until (2023). I have worked with individuals in (DDD), populations, as well as (SMI), alcohol and drug recovery programs, for over 30 plus years. I have also worked in the field of DCS Parent aid and Case aid for parents who were in the process of getting their children back. I believe I am in position where I can better relate and understand what my clients are feeling and going through. I work as a Behavioral Tech.
