My background, education, & experience in healthcare and mental health allows me to work with individuals and families facing crisis and trauma with a unique approach and perspective. I specialize in suicide, crisis, trauma, grief, and behavioral issues. This additional training and certifications allow me to meet many complex challenges and needs in families today.
I have a degree in Behavioral Science and years of nursing background. As a Certified Parent Instructor, I assess the needs and challenges of children, teens, and families. I provide the skills to identify triggers, mitigate issues, and provide resources, support, and hope in situations including crises. Additionally, I teach parents how to identify their parenting styles, understand the impact of their parenting approaches, and cultivate a system of improvements.
My name is Aimee Medina, and I am the Executive Director and Founder of Hope Seed Support Center. I work with children and teens ages 4-19 and their families for issues with behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, low motivation, self-esteem issues, self-harm, eating disorders, anger, and issues within the family dynamics. I help children and families utilize their strengths to learn new skills and achieve remarkable outcomes. I would love to help you and your family. Thanks
